If you are going to make a game with the book, make it different. I am trying to make AI for 1 player mode.

Well, blackkatco further supports my argument that examples are to learn from, and not to earn from... (don't take credit for stuff that's just barely your's...)
...Besides, it don't work...

Well this game works I did not get an error message and I think its fine to make tutorial edits as long as you don't take all the credit for it.
