      The grass is larger and 'moves' faster than the stuff in the background, signifying that its in the foreground.

      ok, btw is the grass straws near or far because if they.re near i can understand the speed but it looks like there are more far because you can compare with the other stuff in the background. That was what made it look a little odd.

      The depth problem only arose a little bit before release, and it totally went past me.
      As for the speed, that is the slowest speed that a bird travels (I did the math). However, the fast pace doesn't really suit the mood of the game.
      I never had any far reaching goals in designing this thing; instead I came up with an idea and just built on top of it. All of the game's problems arise from that mistake.
